This was named the Lone Star State and before the Convention of 1836 proclaimed Texas independent, many native Americans called the land their home. Followed by the Spanish and French settler and other people of different nations moving to the America and the newly formed United States of America
The early days of independence was not easy as they fought for long and bitter. Spain through Mexico was not happy about losing their wealth and power as Texas represented their independence.
